今回はホロホロの実について考察したいと思います。スリラーバークで登場したペローナが食べた悪魔の実ですね。
本編でも猛威を奮った能力でしたが改めて考察していこうと思います。
ホロホロの実について
霊体を生み出し操る
超人系能力者であり、霊体を自在に操ることが出来る霊体人間。
視覚も共有しているため、能力者の分身といっても良いかもしれない。
ゴーストはあらゆる物体をすり抜け、またゴーストに触れるとネガティブな思考に陥る。
あらゆる物体をすり抜けてしまう特性があり、単純な物理攻撃や炎や雷も命中せず、壁や床もすり抜けてしまう。
覇気による攻撃がゴーストに当たるかどうかは描写が無いため不明であるが、仮に当たらない、もしくは当たってもネガティブな思考に陥る能力が発動するとしたら相当な脅威だろう。
そしてゴーストは触れると致命的にネガティブな思考に陥らせてしまう精神操作系の能力を有する。
単にネガティブな思考に陥らせるだけでなく、動く気力も失わせているため、拘束や足止めをはじめとした応用がきく。
並の戦闘員はもちろん、ネガティブになった姿が想像しづらいゾロですらこの能力の前では無力だったため、対生物相手には基本的に無敵であると考えられる。
ただし元々がネガティブな相手が対象の場合は能力が通用せず、反対にゴーストや能力者がネガティブにされてしまう(ネガティブ負け)といった一応の弱点も存在する。
本編ではウソップがネガティブな性格でこの能力を完封し、まさかの勝利を納めた。元々そこまでネガティブではないとか言ってはいけない
幽体離脱が可能な一方で、幽体離脱中は本体は動く事が出来ない
霊体である点以外は本体となんら変わらないため、本物のように見せかけて相手を撹乱する、相手の前に現れ視界を塞ぐといった嫌らしい戦い方が可能。
霊体幽体離脱中は本体は無防備な状態であるため非常に危険。無抵抗に倒されてしまう。
タネを見破られずに、本体の居場所を特定されなければ霊体で一方的にダメージを与え続けることが出来るが、本体は無防備というハイリスクハイリターンの能力といえる。
作り出した霊体を破裂させることが可能
相手をネガティブにさせたり視界を奪ったり身体を通過したりとトリッキーな戦術が主なホロホロの実だが、対象物にゴーストを設置し破裂することが可能。
精神的に追い詰めるだけではなく、物理的な破壊力も備えており、まさに相手を翻弄するにふさわしい能力だ。
ちなみにこの技は怪奇現象の一つであるラップ音がモチーフだろう。本来は何もない部屋等で突如鳴り出すのが不気味なラップ音だが、本編では思いっきりペローナが起爆させて音を立てている。

ペローナはスリラーバーク編が終了してからもたびたび再登場しています。今後もゾロやミホーク関連で更なる登場の機会が予想されるので、ペローナとホロホロの実の活躍を期待しましょう。
